Identification of Sexual Health Issue
A healthy life makes people easily interact with peers in any social environment. Urinary tract infection is a critical sexual issue that jeopardizes the ability to interact in the social space. UTI is a critical health issue that affects the urinary system. The major areas impacted are the urethra, bladder, ureter, and kidney (Chu & Lowder, 2018). UTI is critical since it may alter the reproduction system and hinder an individual from having a child. Besides, whenever it spreads in the kidney, it leads to adverse and long-term consequences in the body system. It is advisable to understand the areas that the UTI affects. The common area is the bladder. UTI, which affects the bladder, is described as cystitis. It alters the patient's social life by making them pee all the time and leads to constant pain in the lower abdomen. The second category is pyelonephritis which affects the kidney. It leads to different issues such as nausea, fever, and vomiting. The last type of UTI is urethritis which affects the urethra. All the identified UTIs affect sexual life and requires timely interventions to reduce the impacts.
Education on UTI
The key aspect to note about UTIs is prevention mechanisms. Understanding prevention mechanisms will reduce its social health impacts. The most appropriate measure to consider is drinking plenty of water. Water is a significant liquid and would dilute the urine content, thus flushing out the bacteria. Whenever a bacteria is flushed out, it reduces the impact of UTI. Secondly, it is necessary to consume cranberry juice. According to Wnorowska et al.
