Personal autobiography.
My name is Glendon La’roi Arnold. For a significant part of my lifetime, I have been involved in service to the country, serving in the army. My service in the United States Army depicts an illustrious in serving my country. It is a journey that I indeed pride myself in and hold no regrets thus far. On the contrary, I must admit that it has been a great honor and privilege to be of service to my beloved country. It is a journey whose genesis dates back to June 2012 after completing my High School Diploma from Dekaney High School.
In about a month after my high school diploma, I was enlisted to serve in the United States Army as a Motor Transport Operator, a position which I took up and served diligently. My service in the army is defined through two distinct periods; from July 2012 to September 2015 and from April 2021 to date. During both periods of service, I served as a Motor Transport Operator. As a Motor Transport Operator, my duties and responsibilities involved: employing convoy defense techniques, identifying, correcting, or reporting all vehicle deficiencies, preparing vehicles for movement or shipment by air, rail, or vessel, managing the loading and unloading processes and the safety of personnel being transported, operating all-wheel vehicles and equipment over varied terrain and roadways and overseeing and checking proper loading and unloading of cargo on vehicles and trailers.
