To be a successful entrepreneur, I need to adapt certain strategies and apply certain philosophies such as servant leadership and business ethics. These concepts will guide me to create attainable goals wherein I am able to create effective change in the work environment, and plan ahead of business schedules. The three pillars which are servant leadership, ethics, and entrepreneurism equips me with the proper knowledge to how I can tackle the management of my future businesses.
In the future, I want to be a good leader who is able to create visions and missions that will benefit not just myself but also the whole community. A servant leader is one who intends to help others and be of service to the society. As compared to the traditional leader who exacts his desires by imposing his own instructions for his company to thrive, a servant leader collaborates with his people and puts the welfare of the community at the heart of the business. A servant leader knows how to distribute power effectively, and puts the priority on the customer’s needs and preferences. Servant leaders know that the most essential thing in running a business is the intent behind the services and the products. A servant leader exists to create beneficial business for the people. As an entrepreneur in the future, I need to integrate community service to my businesses. I can do this by thinking about my customers, and creating healthy relationships with my business partners. It would be wise to partner with like minded people who share the same interests and intention as myself. As a business leader, I need to gather employees who are willing to work in my business, while granting them opportunity for self growth and development. I hope that I can create a business model wherein my people would be able to commit to our cause while engaging other people towards the common goal of community improvement. Leadership is about committing to certain activities which would make revenue and create benefit for members of the society.
If I were to create a lasting and effective impact on the world, I need to know which type of businesses are both profitable and beneficial of the planet and the people. I need to establish my organization by inculcating to my employees, the heart and the dream of a better future. I need to be able to learn how to motivate and inspire my men so that they can do their work proudly and properly. In my business, I will highlight the importance of collaboration and trust, and I would extend utmost humanity towards my employees. I know that if I am able to show the others my dedication and my capability as a leader, I would be able to influence them properly and create a workspace with diversity, and teamwork.
