Although the logistics of travel shows that it would be costly to transport the sculptures back to their original homeland, it would be the best thing to do. If ancient Greeks or artists who came up with this artwork woke up from their graves, they would be outraged to find out that what they made as a symbol of their culture was taken away from their communities. In addition, the extraction of the Parthenon marbles damaged some of them, which Greeks had crafted with more perfection. Morally, the British Museum should return these sculptures to Athens, Greece, where they belong. Besides, about 50% of this artwork was left in Greece as incomplete pieces. If the British Museum returns what it has to Greece, the sculptures will be reunited to those that remained. The true meaning of art is only depicted when it is in the right place.
