Are corporations moral agents? Do they have moral responsibilities? Or, in your view, do only human beings have moral agency and moral obligations.
In the united states, the performance of corporations contributes to immense economic growth. Any organization must make an ethical decision and portray its implementations by structuring and deploying diverse systems. The process of making ethical decisions and depicting its implementation through the employees’ actions suggests that corporations are moral agents (Scott &Henry 11). In this case, the general managers often resolve several strategies, which are later implemented to improve the company's performance and production. Corporations are generally regarded as valid persons due to their legalized registration and thus deserve protection and rights enjoyment (Scott &Henry 11). As a result of this legal status, corporations can validly make decisions conducted by the workers, for instance, the internal corporate decision (CID).
Businesses have moral responsibilities since they can influence the individual’s behaviors through actions such as firing in case of misconduct in the company.
