Two Ways the Army Has Successfully Evolved
One significant change in the Army was allowing women to join the Army and be deployed into combat. Initially, women served in wars as nurses, cooks, and seamstresses. In some cases, women disguised themselves as men and joined in battle, and others were spies. However, these women were not recognized as part of the uniform combat and were not allowed to enroll in military school until 1975.
