Work-related Stress

Work-related stress is demonstrated by people who are overloaded with pressures and work demands that are incompatible with their knowledge and skills.

Different kinds of stress have been identified over the years. In general, it is defined as a physical and psychological state of an individual as a result of insufficient coping skills in addressing the pressure of a certain situation. This can be manifested in various ways and can affect individuals differently. One of the most common kinds of stress is work-related.
Causes of Job Stress
According to WHO, its cause may be due to poor management and work organization, unsatisfactory working conditions, low quality work design, and inadequate support from supervisors and other colleagues (World Health Organization, 2010).
