Yes, the position of the author is supported by ample and credible evidences. Particularly, the author has used both qualitative and quantitative sources (i.e., statistics about the population) taken from academic sources, which strengthened the very position that he is trying to make

- This can be tricky to answer. Be honest but sensitive: Do you think the author sufficiently comprehends the topic based on what you have read?
