Overview
This research focused on discussing the level of general self-efficacy as a predictor of anxiety, coping strategies, and emotional intelligence among students in Granada University in Spain. The study utilized a cross-sectional study to measure self-efficacy, anxiety, coping strategies, and emotional intelligence based on exposure to different psychological stressors. The sample population comprised 258 students prone to stressors such as exams, academic overload, and lack of sufficient time to fulfill academic tasks (Morales-Rodríguez & Pérez-Mármol, 2019)
The author conducted a bivariate and multivariate regression analysis to inform the study. The findings from the bivariate analyses show an inverse relationship between self-efficacy and state anxiety and state anxiety. In addition, self-efficacy is statistically related to coping, mood repair, social withdrawal, cognitive restructuring, emotional clarity, and emotional intelligence.
