Food Group and Choose my Plate Recommendations
From the assessment of daily intake, several food groups are below the recommended food group. Though The total fat intake is within the recommended, my intake of PFA 18:2, linoleic (41.6%) is below the recommended range. My dietary intake for total dietary fiber is below the recommended intake as I only meet only 42 percent of my recommended intake as well as my intake for carbohydrates. The daily intake for moisture (29.7%), vitamin D (68.2%), Vitamin E (29.4%), Pantothenic acid (61.4%), folate (73.8%), vitamin C (44.5%), Potassium (62.9%), and Magnesium (57.3%). The food groups that are within the recommended range are total fat intake, protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin K, and PFA 18:3, Linolenic.
In the same vein, there are food groups where my intake is above the recommended intake. My intake of saturated fat and sodium is above the recommended intake. My protein based on body weight is 219.9 percent above the recommended intake. Thiamin (108.9%), Riboflavin (161.6%), Niacin (116.7%), Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) (147.2%), Cobalamin (Vitamin B12) (297.7%), Calcium (129.4%), Iron (172.3%), Zinc (135%) are all above the recommended intake.
The foods that helped me to achieve the recommended intake of fats were the JIMMY DEAN biscuits, sandwiches, sausage, egg & Cheese, whole milk, PANDA EXPRESS eggplant and tofu, beef with mushroom, pork, sweet potato, and pizza, among others. Whole milk, bibimbap, JIMMY DEAN sandwiches, eggplant, tofu, Baked potato, green vegetables, sweet potato, and pizza were the main sources of carbohydrates but insufficient to meet the recommended intake. Mixed vegetables, sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, eggplant, broccoli, and bibimbap were the main sources of dietary fiber but did not provide enough dietary fiber. The main source of my sugar intake was whole milk, eggplant, tofu, and green vegetables. Whole milk, pork, and beef were the main source of vitamin D, though they were not enough to meet the recommended intake.
The main sources of Vitamin E were sweet potatoes, Bibimbap, beef, shrimp, and pizza. Bibimbap, cabbage, beef, pepper steak, and sweet potatoes were the main sources of Vitamin K. Whole milk, pork, and pizza were the main source of thiamin. Whole milk and pizza were the main sources of riboflavin. Bibimbap, pork, rice, beef, shrimp, pepper steak, and potatoes were the main source of niacin. The main source of pantothenic acid was whole milk, baked potatoes, and pork. Beef and bibimbap were the main sources of vitamin B6. I mainly sourced my folate was whole milk, bibimbap, beef, cabbage, noodles, baked potatoes, rice, and sweet potatoes were the main sources of Vitamin B12. Bibimbap, pepper steak, baked potatoes, and mixed vegetables were the main sources of vitamin C. The main sources of sodium were bibimbap, beef, sandwiches, and pizza. The main sources of potassium were whole milk, bibimbap, beef, steamed shrimp, baked potatoes, pork, pizza, and mixed vegetables.
