1 To narrow my research topic to one, I first chose my research questions by identifying significant issues relating to my subject, particularly those about which I had an opinion. This was beneficial because my point of view could be turned into a thesis statement or a research question. Next, I also focused on a specific nation, province, city, urban or rural areas that may be valuable for the research.
2 There are several ways of examining whether an information source is scholarly. First, I checked the author's credentials and chose only those with the author's name, description, and all relevant information. Secondly, I checked the publisher focusing on those papers from academic institutions, scholarly organizations, or government publications. Further, I check if the source is more than ten pages a has a list of works cited or a bibliography.
