One thing that baffles me every day is how people are not allowed to have divergent views. With a divergent view whether in behavior, opinion, culture, etc., one could easily be branded an outcast and have people distance themselves from him/her. One good example regards the LGBTQ community and how at times I see people being forced to agree to the idea of same-sex marriage. Members of the LGBTQ community have indeed been victims of public ridicule and violence for a long time.
