Question 1
One of the major political disagreements between the founders of the United States (U.S.) after the Revolution was whether or not to have a central government. The prevailing opinion after the revolution was that the U.S. would not have a central government. The reason was because Americans wanted to create a nation that was free of the system of government used in other nations at the time. However, federalists, who were mainly made up of the founding fathers, quickly discovered that for the nation to operate successfully, there had to be a central government. At the same time, America’s founding fathers were trying to prove themselves to Americans and the rest of the world by developing a revolutionary system of government.
Question 4
