The Pervert’s Guide To Ideology Critical Analysis
The Pervert’s Guide To Ideology is a documentary written by Slavoj Žižek and directed by Sophie Fiennes. How the film progresses can be equated with The Pervert’s Guide To Cinema, where Žižek shows the layers of meaning in many Hollywood films. The director utilizes the trick of using similar designs to portray a picture that Žižek is speaking form inside of the film he is talking about. The movie has very heady and high-flown ideologies. However, the presentation is very engaging and consistent. The narrator, Žižek, is portrayed as a natural explainer, an acclaimed professor is his work and achievements in the University. The film is hilarious, with an uncanny ability to turn movies from inside out.
