Tax accounting assignment. Accounting, Finance, SPSS Movie Review

Movie Review Instructions:

For this assignment, we are going to focus on the big picture of how much we encounter tax implications in our daily lives. Hopefully this will help you put into perspective the relevance of what we’ve learned over the course of the semester. My intention is that completing the project will give you a better understanding of how the concepts we learned fit into what reporting must be done to the IRS (and prepare you for your future careers!). For this assignment, I want you to think about how tax impacts us all personally, in ways we don’t even consciously think about.
I want you to watch a movie (or a couple of episodes of a TV show) and as you watch, take notes about the tax implications of the actions of the characters or businesses, etc. featured in the show. This does not need to be in essay form, it can be a bulleted list, but it needs to be as comprehensive as possible. For example, the main character buys coffee. Boom: Sales tax on the character, income tax on the sale for the coffee provider. I need you to tell me what the transaction was and what the implications are. Another example: Character sells stock to pay for his rent. He may have capital gain or loss, it might be long or short term, etc.
