The results we obtained during this lab experiment were comparatively higher than the actual values, with an approximate error of 99 percent. The chance is that these errors originated because of the sudden drop in the volume and the difference between the estimated values of the molecules. It looks like the thickness of the monolayer was higher than what we had approximated in the box model. It is now clear that Avogadro's number is not an ordinary mathematically derived unit. In fact, we cannot determine the total number of particles in a model without conducting an experiment.
