Stress- Journal entry
The topic that I have chosen is stress. Everyone in life experiences some form of stress. However, Stress is a much broader term and it is truly important to understand this in order to promote a healthier and happier lifestyle. In my own life I have experienced stresses in different aspects, but all these stress only serve to teach me something that I have to learn and do.
Stress in not only an unconscious or conscious response. It has physiological counterparts that define how it works on the physical level. In simple terms, stress can be likened to a flight or fight response. Stress triggers a complex mix of different hormones and chemicals like cortisol, adrenaline, and norepinephrine to prepare the body for action. It triggers the other organs and parts of the body to become more active and have a burst of energy.
Stress comes up to my life from the different activities that I do that demand a share of my time and energy. One such area that I experience stress is on writing.
