Introduction
Applying ethical considerations to the realm of business is indeed an interesting point of discussion. Corporate scandals are gathering too much media attention thus studying ethics vis-à-vis business became very significant in these days.
Ethical Theories and Business course aims to make future managers and leaders well-equipped with knowledge and understanding of what awaits them in the real setting. The school is the training ground for students like me to enhance skills requiring necessary tools namely, pen, paper and a pair of eye-glasses.
Then I Started to Read and Write: The Learning Process
Studying Ethical Theories and Business has thought me one thing that is, reading and writing are necessary skills that will be polished at the end of the course. There is a plethora of reading materials that one has to go through in taking this course. More than reading, one has to have a thorough understanding of philosophical essays or case studies presented in the class. Indeed reading here means a lot more than mere uttering the words written in the material, reading here talks about being able to understand and analyze what can be seen as words.
Ethics and Business are subjects that serve as fertile ground for discussions, analysis, arguments and debates thus taking this course one may expect to write extended analysis for instance of ethical positions.
