The video is a documentary outlining the construction and significance of the Parthenon, a former temple located in Greece. It represents Classical Greece, and its existence plays a significant role in reminding people about the past. It is an amazing work of architecture, viewed as an art and a symbol of Ancient Greece. It is also considered as a representation of Athenian democracy, cultures, and western civilization. I think the main point of the documentary is to show people the significance of the historic building. The same significance would also be held by the buildings we consider modern. Many years in the future, these buildings will represent today’s cultural and political beliefs.
The building gives birth to the western views about beauty, art, science, and democracy. This is why the building has remained a historical feature regardless of having been constructed many years ago. It is a reminder of art and the amazing work of architecture. The fact that the building still stands indicates the amazing work of architecture involved.
