The person being interviewed in the video is Freddy Mutanguha. He is a genocide survivor from Rwanda from the 1994 killings of the Tutsi people by the Hutus. The interview was conducted in 2012 by USC Shoah Foundation, intending to add to a collection of testimonies from the survivors of the Rwandan genocide. In the interview, Freddy recounts his last moments with his mother, who was killed by the Hutu militia on 13th April 1994. Freddy’s mother visited his son carrying beans and vegetables, food that Freddy did not like, and the mother knew it.
