The marketing plan will allow the company to successfully penetrate the market, making it reach out to the customers. Primary Target
The company's primary target customers are Ohio University students. The company accurately targets the identified customers due to higher coffee demands. Exploring their needs will make the company acquire more profit and grow exponentially. The company targets University students for various reasons; they have high coffee for increased mental activity in their studies. Secondly, the students have limited time for meal preparation; therefore, the company will provide them ample time for their meals. Lastly, the cold weather in Ohio increases high coffee demands, which would increase the company's sales.
Research Methods for Customer Needs
Surveys-Surveys would be important by engaging the customers to efficiently understand their needs. It involves documenting specific questions aligned to the customers' expectations and justifying their needs. Conducting a survey effectively identifies the customer's needs and wants since it provides qualitative information necessary for comparing the customer's desires (Patten & Newhart, 2017). The survey will be necessary for creating a positive customer relationship with the company.
Interviews
There will be one-on-one interviews with the targeted customers to identify their needs and expectations. It is an appropriate method for market research since it provides an in-depth experience with the ideal customer (Patten & Newhart, 2017). Therefore, it is easy to read the verbal cues of the customers and identify their expectations. In-depth interviews will identify specific improvements to meet the changing customer demands and expectations.
Focus Group Research
The method brings together different customers making it easy to identify their needs collectively. Focus groups will be considered to gain deeper insights into their view of the company product.
