Diversity is one of the most essential elements of management. Knowing how to embrace and utilize diversity is crucial to the synergy of the entire organization, which in turn impacts its overall productivity. A company's diversity strategy affects virtually everything in its business structure, including its external operations. This is particularly the issue addressed in a report entitled Developing a truly global diversity & inclusion strategy: A Wal-Mart best practice by Barbara Deane.
