Management accountants are also known as corporate accountants who works within a company. The management accountants are bestowed with three major roles. First, they have a role to track and record internal financial information that are useful in the organization’s decision making process (Needles, Powers, & Crosson, 2010). Second, they have a duty to carry out costs and assets management, formulate budgets as well as filing vital reports that can be used by the organization management team. Lastly, the management accountants also carry out motivating as well as overseeing tasks to completion in an organization (Needles, Powers, & Crosson, 2010).

Every business has to upheld, observe or incorporate ethical standards in order to success. Through practicing of ethical standards such as honesty, integrity, responsibility, quality, and shareholder, a company is likely to achieve both its long term and short term mission and vision (Gitman, Juchau, & Flanagan, 2015). A business that observes integrity and honesty in its operation tend to create a good business-customer relationship as well as good employer-employee relationship. Failure to implement ethical standards ends up costing a business reputation, thus affecting its profitability as well as its going concern (Gitman, Juchau, & Flanagan, 2015).
