It is not a doubt that technology has brought about convenience and efficiency to almost every aspect of humans’ daily lives. Researchers argue that new technologies, particularly the industry 4.0 technologies with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) at the forefront, have the potential to customize the future effectively and more enjoyably (Anderson and Rainie par. 3). Unfortunately, the same technologies threaten the fundamental components that define humanity. AI has the potential to replace the cognitive capabilities of humans and the increasing dependence on AI solutions makes humans dumb. These technologies have also impacted the social aspect of humanity, where humans are more comfortable interacting with others with the help of technology rather than having a face to face communication.
