Arguably, the topic about smoking in public places has been debatable all over the world. A cigarette contains tobacco, which is a stimulant that is commonly abused. Smoking has even been integrated into cultures, but the truth is that smoking is harmful to the health of not only the smoker but also person inhaling the passing smoke. Smoking should be banned in public places to safeguard the lives and health of those surrounding the smoker. The public in smoking often irritates non-smokers and is additionally harmful to their health. Smoking should be regulated such that people are not allowed to smoke in public areas and those found doing so should face harsh penalties.
According to a recently concluded research, public and health officials have determined that second-hand smoking causes illness among non-smoking adults. For instance lung cancer and heart diseases.
