Full of Information but Funny Poem on the Opium War

Opium wars
Opium smoking today might not be a thing,
But history states, that it was once a bling.
Opium was smoked, not just to get high,
But to bring glory and money, by the end of the night.
In ancient China, were the great wall stand,
Wars were waged, against the British hand.
T’was the 19th century when the war first broke,
When lives were wasted, and canons fire balls and smoke
And t’was the story of the first Opium war,
Which resounded all over the world, near and far,
Its end was concluded in treaty of Nanking,
Which made the British a superpower in the making.
After then, five treaty ports were created,
Shanghai, Canton, Ningpo, and Fuchow were erected.
But then, the Second Opium war started,
From 1856 to 1860 it lasted.
The Second Opium war, aka the “Arrow war”,
Devastated China so much, like hitting a freight train car.
It’s main purpose is to legalize Opium trade,
Expand the “coolie”, and open China to British trade and raid.
But with some stroke of misfortune, the French joined the game,
