Pema Chodron is an American Buddhist, who is known for her life teachings based on resilience and happy living. She is an ordained nun who has been across the world, teaching the masses on positive living, and influencing them positively (Chodron 24). She argues that the circumstances in our lives can be used to soften and make us kinder rather than harden and disorient us. In that case, our fears should drive us to become stronger beings.
