A summary of the gospel of Luke
Luke contains a very detailed account on the life of Jesus Christ here on earth and strongly puts forth his main aim of being here; to bring back our relationship with God the father, Gods intentions to mankind. The new believers in the faith of Christianity should be encouraged to read this gospel so that they may understand well Christ and his intentions for their lives. It is a very good book written in a well planned sequence and understandable presentation. The book contains the narrative history, the geology, sermons, some prophetic oracles and parables. It is the 3rd gospel within the New Testament. It was written around 60 AD by Luke who was known to be a doctor and one of the strong Christians by then.
The key figures in this book are Jesus Christ, his parents, john the Baptist, the disciples of Jesus, king Herod, the religious leaders and Pilate. Luke is believed to have been written to bring out a proper account of Jesus Christ so the Christians may know the truth; who is the real savior of this world.
