Understanding the importance of outsourcing activities is essential for every organization. Whether it be a domestic or international corporation, utilizing other means to increase the efficiency of your workload would help the organization in various aspects such as increasing production efficiency, reducing waste, and meeting client demands, among others. In this article, I would like to focus on Buy@Us, a re-commerce company that sells second-hand luxury items. The following section will initially provide the company’s details, followed by an analysis of the Supply Chain Management strategies that it could use.

Buy@Us is a re-commerce online store primarily headquartered in the United States but operating in multiple countries worldwide. Rather than buying and selling products, its digital application allows prospective buyers to post (or auction) their items and sellers to agree (or bid) on the items they want.
