Assignment Goal. This three-part assignment aims to ensure you understand how to conduct a needs assessment and use the information you learn to design a training program. Notably, the program you design will not be focused on the curriculum teachers complete to become certified. Instead, this training is focused on the classes and workshops K-12 teachers complete once they are teaching full-time.

Directions: Now that you have completed the needs assessment interview and summary – it’s time to design the training program for teachers.
When is the K-12 Teacher Training Program Design due?
* It is due Thurs, Nov 18, 2021.
* It will open on Canvas at Midnight on Sun, Nov 7
How many points is the assignment worth?
* This assignment is worth 80 points.
What chapters should we use to complete this assignment?
* You will use chapters 5 & 7 to complete this assignment; where most of the assignment focuses on Chapter 5.
Key Assumptions
The following key assumptions will be made about this assignment.
* Number of attendees. Although you completed an interview with one teacher, you will assume 20 teachers will attend the training session for this assignment.
* Total Hours. Your training session must last a MINIMUM of three hours (180 mins).
* Training Format. Based on what you learned during the interview, the training format will be based on the preferences of the teacher you interviewed.
* Specifically, you will determine if the training will be synchronous or asynchronous (e.g., self-paced learning similar to an online class or LinkedIn Learning module).
* Next, if the training is synchronous, you will determine if the instruction will be done in person or virtually.
