Please do a story that answers this question: How do Rutgers students feel about the rise in crime in the area?
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS (and everybody else, for that matter): This is where the discussion point I posted is going to be incredibly important. I'm going to need you all, my students, to participate in this and provide feedback on the discussion points since not everybody is in New Brunswick, or near New Brunswick, to write about. Please see the discussion provide an opinion and an anecdote -- remember that this is part of your class participation grade.
Here's what you need to do:
-- Interview 3 to 5 students -- like I say in the video, outside of the discussion point, let me know if you need help getting students. Like I said, I have created a discussion question that will help provide answers to this question (participation in that will count toward your class participation grade).

-- Theme the story around the central, prevailing, consensus opinion, with a declarative sentence in your lede: Rutgers students say they're worried about the rise in crime in the Rutgers area and they're worried about their safety. Or, perhaps, the consensus opinion is more mixed: Rutgers students say they have mixed opinions about safety in the area, with some saying the reports of crime in the area are exaggerated.

Crime among Rutgers Students
Besides pursuing academics in the quest for better living standards, students’ safety is a top priority. Crime tends to be high around campus vicinities because the institution brings together people from different social, economic, and cultural backgrounds. According to a couple of students I interacted with at Rutgers University, it is evident that the crime rate in the campus is increasingly becoming a matter of concern. This makes it important to understand the students’ experience and their perception so as to formulate effective and efficient safety measures.
According to An Ni, a computer science student, theft of electronic gadgets is rampant and the situation is continuously escalating. One of her friends lost her latest macbook rendering her unproductive and eventually affecting her grades. A majority of the students unanimously agree that they have lost at least a smartphone, a laptop or some electronic device since they joined the institution. Such belongings are important and most students depend on them as tools of interaction and learning among the students. Such tools are unlikely to be traced because the perpetrators usually deactivate before the tracking commences.
Another concern among the students has been drug trafficking and abuse. Antoinne Aleksandrs, a recovering drug addict, claims that a large population of students tend to try drugs due to peer pressure, stress, or need for self-identity and a sense of belonging. Stude...
