Article Summary
The Article titled “List of Trump’s Executive Orders,” which was published on the Fox News provides a list of 43 memoranda, actions, and orders that have been endorsed by President Donald Trump. The president has endeavored to fulfill some of the promises he made during the 2016 U.S. general election presidential campaign (Fox News). Some of the executive orders are focused on the U.S. national security, Veterans Affairs employees, import duties, and tax reforms. In addition, some of the presidential executive orders are also focused on the fight against drug use and addiction, green energy, federal contracting, refugees and asylum seekers, multilateral trade agreements, and the federal funding.
A close scrutiny of the 43 executive orders reveals that they are targeted at different industries, agencies, and administrations. A specific regulation that targets the federal agencies is the one requiring the federal agencies to easy ObamaCare’s regulatory burdens (Fox News). Similar orders also call for the retrenchment of some of the federal government employees, prohibition of federal funds to certain international groups, and the restructuring of the Homeland Security Council and the National Security Council. Moreover, the list also contains some executive orders targeting the education and agricultural sectors.
