The film which was rreleased in 1965, tells the biographical story of Charlton Heston (Michelangelo) and his troubles of being a painter under Rex Harrison (Pope Julius II). Michelangelo struggled for a long time to overcome significant interferences, including artistic jealously, religious dogma, family interference, and political intrigue with the sole purpose of achieving his artistic passion. Michelangelo fulfills his dreams despite all these challenges is of great significance for my life right now.
