When beginning, start with the body first
Describe how the event happened. How did it begin, then what happened, how long did it take?
Sensory details include the 5 senses:
See: What did it look like? Feel: How did it feel to touch? Hear: What did it sound like? Taste: What did it taste like? Smell: What did it smell like?
Select the most meaningful moments that will lead to your conclusion.
Write a descriptive paragraph for each moment.
Now you are ready to write the conclusion.
REFLECT: explain the lesson learned as a result of this story.
Now write the introduction: Go back to the beginning and set the scene and characters!

Introduction
“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end”. This saying is perhaps one of the most famous ones that ever existed which are still being quoted today. What this simply means is that in every step that we take in our lives, there always exist a previous step that we have taken. Whether it be having to go to preschool, going to college, or even having a child, all of these milestones in life would have another one that led way to its happening and in my experience, this would be entering college. Although it might seem that deciding to go to college is just one step that I simply took, I firmly believe that this wouldn’t have happened if not for my past experiences and interactions with other people, more specifically, with the process of “saying goodbyes” ever since I started my senior year in high school. Now, while this might seem confusing, especially since I called this a process, what I refer to when I say “goodbyes” is more of the experience and not simply the physical act of stating it, and thus those experiences are what led me to my decision of finally entering college. In the succeeding section, I would discuss how this process had led me and what is its importance, not only for the step that I have taken but even those which would come later in life.
Saying Goodbyes
Perhaps one of the most difficult thing to say to another person that you care so much is “goodbye”. This is not because of the word itself, but because of the meaning that it carries and our expected consequences of doing so. When we say our dearest goodbyes, we don’t simply mean that “I’ll will leave for a moment and come back later”, what it means is that “I might not be able to see you again”. And, since my high school is located in the suburbs and that most of these kids (who usually becomes that bests of friends) live in those neighborhood, most of us would always be tempted to settle in our local community college than studying in far univers...
