In the passage, My Life in the Bush of Ghosts, the author Amos Tutuola takes the reader through a tale that narrates the story of someone who has indeed been trapped in a world of ghosts. One of the most striking things that come out of the passage is the way in which the author uses vivid description to visualize his narration. This can be well seen in the words that have been used by the author in pages 24-25. He says, ‘All kinds of snakes, centipedes and flies were living on every part of his body. Bees, wasps and uncountable mosquitoes were also flying around him and…’ It is of no doubt that anyone who is reading the passage will connect with the author through such narrations.
