It is surprising that we still need theories despite the advancement in technology and the proliferation of information. One cannot fail to ask themselves why theory is that important. One way to look at it is that any tangible opinion must have a source. Therefore, for any opinion to hold substance, one must investigate the source of the opinion and determine whether or not the opinion matters. For the opinion to matter, there must be tangible reasons to back it up (Nealon and Susan, 4). This explanation sums up the question of the importance of theory.
