Alexie, Sherman. Reading and Writing: Superman and Me - WordPress.com. /cr?IG=718510DED31B4CBE97336DCBD4A411BB&CID=365210260DB76D5E09DD1BC20C186CE5&rd=1&h=RYDg0vQIHhExVvtdS2yn4jOfI7FgXktRQ1KakrCRz8Y&v=1&r=https://mayobrock.files.wordpress.com/2013/10/shermanalexie-superman1.pdf&p=DevEx.LB.1,5364.1.
In “Reading and Writing: Superman and Me,” Sherman Alexie shared his childhood experience of how he turned his passion into the career and what type of problems he had to face at that time. Just like his father, the poor Indian boy developed an interest in books. He continued reading many books until he developed strong writing skills and eventually started writing short stories, novels, and poems himself. From this short story, it looks like reading was more of an obsession for that young boy than a time-pass.

They took no time to become prominent writers, and along with their parents, Anne and her big brother gave a tough competition to the participants of a weekly TV show "G.E. College Bowl." This quiz show consisted of two teams of brilliant students from two different colleges. At a point, Anne called themselves Fadiman and admitted that they weren’t as intelligent as the students of Brandeis and Colorado College, and this is what we call confession of a person. Other than this reading, I hardly read any essay where the writer admitted his or her mistake. Most of them are too judgmental and keep arguing about useless things. In contrast, Anne Fediman admits that she ...
