A visit to the amusement park
I never liked the idea of visiting an amusement park, probably because of watching “Final Destination”. However, my friends decided that for my birthday, a visit to the amusement park would be an ideal gift for me. Convincing me was quite a challenge to them, due to my unfounded beliefs, but even though I later gave in to their advances, I was still scared of what might happen especially while riding the roller coasters. I always preferred going to the movies as opposed to visiting amusement parks, and this trip with my friends was to be my first. The trip ahead would enlighten me of what I have been missing of simply prove my fears right in regards to my sentiments about amusement parks.
The day finally came and we finally set on our fun-seeking adventure. I was amazed at how my friends had put too much thought on the trip. Knowing it was my first time, they had to choose the best amusement park that would prove my notions about amusement parks all wrong, and as such, they settled on Disney.
It didn’t take me more than ten minutes to fall in love with the place, despite my fears, everyone seemed to be enjoying and brimmed of joy. The key to have a good time was to be organized and my friends had done a pretty good job at that. With us was a list of the rides we wanted to go on, the places to eat and other fun activities.
