English 101 Cover Letter. Literature & Language Essay

Essay Instructions:

This paper must be in a form of a cover letter and 500 words. No grammar errors. No plagiarism. I wrote you my story please it makes sound better and a good impression.I will give you a timeline of my story. At first when I enrolled in English 101, I thought I could not progress any further. My starting semester was a little rough. When I wrote my first essay one. I did very badly I hade gotten a D grade. I spoke to my professor and he told me my intro, thesis, paragraphs did have anything to do with the topic. I tried to write it again still bad grade. And I tried sitting with him to help me then things became a little clear. Again, I got a bad grade. I spoke to the English chairpersons she told me that I had to have a intro, a thesis, Also the paragraphs need to connect back to the thesis, it’s like working backwards. Each body paragraph should transition like a building block. If you write paragraph one it needs to connect to paragraph two and the remaining paragraphs like a building block. After that a conclusion is needed to form the perfect essay. What I learned in English 101 when I wrote my summary response was when you had to sandwich quotes and learned MLA citation in Word Processor. Always give credit to the author no matter what paganism is no joke. I also learned you can use the authors voice but make sure to cite it correctly with the authors last name and page number. Citating sources in MLA was my weak point, I managed to progress in it now after learning to write it by hand.I had also learned in Essay 2 when you had to make ethos, logos, pathos and rhetorical appeals. I have managed to grasp patterns this semester and I am ready to face off challenges in English 102, longer research papers and MLA, APA citations
InstructionsIt should look like a letter. It should be addressed to the portfolio committee. It should end with a sign-off: Sincerely, [Student Name]. It should have well-formed paragraphs complete with topic sentences and well-integrated (sandwiched!) evidence and examples. It should conclude in a satisfying manner.

Dear Members of the Portfolio Committee,
Just like any successful student at the university, I realized that hard work and dedication are some of the essential aspects that a student should possess to succeed in their academic career. Accordingly, I am writing this letter to you to tell you about my journey and takeaways from English 101.
Before beginning the semester, I have always felt that I had some lapses when it comes to my written skills. Gaps in terms of grammar, vocabulary, organization, and even appeal in writing. Nonetheless, despite some of the initial failures that I had, I dedicated my time and effort to learn these skills.
One of the things that I learned throughout the semester was how to construct an essay systematically. At first, I tend to write my pieces by merely typing in everything that I had in mind. I knew that I was not getting the point through, yet I do not know where to start changing my style. However, by reading most of the materials thoroughly and asking for advice from my peers and professors, I learned how to organize my thoughts and ideas logically and systematically present them. I focused on familiarizing myself with the use of introduction, body, and conclusion as my f...
