This assignment is based on the all of the assigned readings and videos for this week, but make sure to pay close attention to the arguments in the two abridged essays by Janet Radcliffe Roger. Your reflection assignment is based on the following question:
1. Would a free market in kidneys be fair to poor people? Argue both sides of the issue.

In this world, a human being is born complete with all organs in the body. No one can borrow anyone's organs or buy life, but in this modern age, human beings are buying body parts from other human beings causing other people to live with some missing organs in their bodies. Sometimes this is caused by a lack of money or willing someone giving out their organs to help someone to survive. The lawmakers of the world are not willing to make it a free market for the sale of the kidney even if they were from the dead body (Radcliffe-Richards, 2009). The sale of body organs is very evil to some religions like Christians and Islam. The sale of the kidney is characterized by the increase of demand from human beings who require the transplants. I believe a free market would be fair to poor people, even though it would expose them to more risks and harm.
The poor are left in the middle of how they can sell their kidney and, at the same time, save the life of someone who is in dire need of the kidney. Radcliffe-Richards (2009) states, "…and the law has accepted that the minimal risk of long-term harm is justified by the gain to the recipient" (p. 2). The selling of kidney should be legal this is because of the two main reasons, one is that the body parts which are sold to other people are used to save lives secondly this body parts which are sold are used to stop the poor people from selling their kidney in the world body parts black market.
