I was pre med opinion and biological science degrees in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and I am applying University of Wisconsin Madison for biostatistics. My dad is dermatology doctor. He influenced me on enzymes and genetics. So I am insteresting in it.

I choose to further my education having already undertaken the pre med option and biological science degrees at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and I am now applying for the Biostatistics and Medical Informatics program at UW-Madison. The program emphasizes the importance of obtaining accurate and timely information for scientific and clinical work, with faculty members in biological sciences, public health, theory, applied statistics and methodology. During university, I studied genetic and biostatics, Complementary and Integrative Health Approaches and Java and attained grade A. As such, furthering my education would improve my research skills in biostatistics and public health and I seek to gain knowledge useful and transferable skills necessary in professional development.
UW- Madison offers comprehensive programs in biostatistics and since I have interests in both biological sciences and statistics I hope to be a researcher. In the field of health, information is essential as it allows researchers, policy makers and health practitioners to know the current status of specific health situations. This is important to me, as I hope to work in public health and epidemiology and knowledge on biostatistics will be crucial to carrying out research and advancing knowledge. Adapting the scientific and technological knowledge to different clinical and health situation will improve public health and biostatistics makes it easier to understand how biological variability affects health outcomes.
