Introduction
Between 1893 and 1976, China witnessed a great revolution that different leaders engineered. Mao Zedong is one of reckoned revolutionists and communists who contributed extensively to the PRC's Foundation (People's Republic of China).
Mao's primary goal as the chairman of PRC was to impose his thoughts on the development of Chinese communism. Being of the smartest leaders in China at that time, Mao's idea was to capture and reinforce power through insurgency and revolution. It is the same idea that was used by Marxists- Leninist who embarked on developing a socialist state and then develop it into a communist state. Socialism is a political and populist system owned by the public, and it includes all machinery essential for the production and meets the needs of the people. On the other hand, communism is described as the process of governance whereby everything in the community is owned in a collective manner. In this case, every individual will contribute and be served according to their needs (Huang 304).
Socialist states were employed mostly in Asian countries; the Russian Soviet Union used it to bring people together. China is a socialist state that capitalist governs, and it is the leaders that dictate how china should be ruled. The Marxists implemented the socialist state ideology, and it has been working ever since. In this case, the Chinese have collective ownership whereby the country exercises equal distribution in terms of resources (Huang 278). The process of modeling china has been a continuous practice since the ages of Mao Zedong and Marxist-Leninists.
