Gospel of Wealth
In the 18th century, Andrew Carnegie emerged as an industrialist and one of the richest men in the world. He was raised in Scotland and moved to the United States with his family. Carnegie believed that “teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision.” He came up with the idea that the industrialists and the riches should give away a large portion of their wealth to charities and foundations. The system Andrew Carnegie introduced was unique in a lot of ways. It stressed the prosperity and well-being of human beings irrespective of their class and religions (Carnegie & Kirkland 235).
