What communication skills and abilities are expected of a college-educated, entry-level employee? What communication problems or issues exist in your organization? Can you give an example of a situation in which unwritten rules seemed to have been broken? A list of questions should be prepared ahead of the interview.
At the completion of your interview, prepare a typed summary - at least two pages - that identifies the date, place, and time of your visit and the person you interviewed, along with his/her job title. Then identify the questions you used for the interview and how the person responded. Finally, discuss what you learned about the role and value of communication in the work place from your experience.
