Career Goals for the Five Years after Graduation
It is a common dream for every student at the undergraduate level to kick start their career once they graduate and excel at it. My major is Supply chain management which entails dealing with the production, shipment, and distribution of products in any business or company that produces and sells products (Copacino). In how it deals with all aspects, from inventory to sales, supply chain management is a critical element in business.
Five years after I graduate, I see myself as an established supply chain manager in a renowned company in the country. As a supply chain manager, I target to be earning more than one hundred thousand dollars annually. My job responsibilities will include coordinating the supply process with the intention of limiting costs and improving accuracy. In turn, this will improve customer safety and service (Indeed). Additionally, I will monitor data forecasts and available quotas to determine changes and their impact on supply chain activities. I will also come up with procedures to assist in coordinating supply chain efforts among other departments, including finance and sales (Indeed). After five years out of college, I want to have my own mansion, a luxury car, and a young family. I see myself as having excelled in my career and obtained a specialist title in the field.
To make these goals happen, I will continue getting exceptional grades in my class assessments; after graduating, I will apply for an internship position at the company where I dream of working and give it my best.
