Given the current technological advancements, people have largely changed their ways of life. Social media is one of the technological innovations that has resulted in such impacts. In most cases, it is impossible to control how people use social media platforms. Such has resulted in addiction, thus making its impacts on society more intense. Some people believe that social media platforms help them reconnect with their families, while others claim that they are a tool for separating people.
