Introduction
History exemplified the metamorphosis of technology (Marcus). Machines were one of the primary inventions of our ancestral scientists, and these participated in the enrichment of the civilization for the past three thousand years. In essence, a machine is composed of resistant bodies arranged in a way that each part will have interaction with the others and function as a whole. This arrangement is designed to improve work performance. When human control influences the machine, it becomes more than a "tool" because it becomes an object with the autonomy that allows for self-regulation (Mumford). In the past, the assistance provided by the machines was significant that their role is overrated, thereby preventing humans from participating in work. The overexploitation of their use led to more advanced technologies that soon lifted the civilization to its peak. Despite the great recompenses from their use, humans were placed at a disadvantage since they became neglected in the field of labor. Additionally, humans sometimes become the subject of ridicule secondary to the use of the primary technology (Mazis). Discerning this idea, the use of technology led to the philosophy that its use may produce both reasonable and prejudiced circumstances which are primarily guided by humans' manipulative powers.
Machines do not allow self-limitation in a game of interactions. These objects exemplify tremendous interactions that promote consistency, contention, and ontological pronouncement. When these objects are given birth by the hands of a technological genius, one can realize that these entities are bearers of finitude or, in simpler words, "no limits or boundaries (Guattari)."
Data and Computer Coding
Having no boundaries created a massive amount of information that a "traditional machine" cannot process anymore. Due to this, brilliant inventors devised a system to store the vast amount of data created from continuously upgrading the machine through the help of modernized technology.
Initially, a datum refers to the qualification of fundamental unanalyzed samples that are marked as the objectives of knowledge and research. Raw data illustrate the authenticity of the unanalyzed samples, and their value is higher due to having an unaltered configuration that cannot be subjected to human alteration. Hence, giving these entities a tremendous epistemic weight. Due to this, data are considered as an "atom of knowledge" that may change over time (Strasser and Edwards).
One way to relate data to machines and technological advancements is to look at the method used by the 1980s climate scientists to monitor the weather and climate in a specific area or region. The scientists recorded instrument readings day by day and compared these data from the previous records. Currently, there is a tremendous volume of data from the simulations prepared by scientists from the 1980s. In fact, the data recorded far exceed the historical instrument record.
