Visual Analysis Essay
The photo contains four individual photos, and all of that photo focuses on human faces and emotions. People's emotions are crucial in photography because they may convey a story just by looking at them. In the image presented, the people's faces are accentuated and given importance in addition to their bodies. Because the audience might infer meaning from an image based on the motion or movement, actions captured by a photographer contribute to its overall perception. The photo is monochromatic; differentiating what is focused on the lens and what is not is very hard. In terms of lines, no significant lines propose there will be another part of it in the image; only cropped photos of people are visible.
American and African American people are seen interacting in the provided photo. The presence of the police officer gives the image a political feel. The image is monochrome, but depending on how viewers or the audience perceive it, some shades may be recognized as particular colors. Black, brown, and white are hues that can be easily recognized from one another, but all other colors are challenging to pin down. The monochromatic, natural-feeling image gives off a depressing vibe related to politics.
