The name of the process is “deliver order.” It entails ensuring that products reach the final customers. The process is linked to Amazon’s strategy, which entails linking the digital and brick-and-motor shopping experience to enable the company to be part of every purchase made. Delivering orders as expected is critical in ensuring that Amazon offers the best shopping experience to its customers (Klaus, 2013). In this regard, the company endeavors to be ingrained in the lives of people.
Deliver order falls under the category of a core process. This is because it creates value and benefits to the consumers (Gummerus, 2013). As a result of delivering products to clients, Amazon receives money. All the business operations of the company aim at delivering the ordered products to their destination. Amazon customers include individuals who wish to purchase products online because they consider the process as cost-effective and convenient.

According to Shipping, Vasić & Kaurin (2019), saving time remains one of the most influential factors in driving more people to online shopping. The key resources for the process are information technology, warehouse workers, and delivery trucks. Information technology allows clients to place orders via the company’s website or mobile application. On receiving the request, workers in the fulfillment centers pack the orders, which are then delivered by trucks to the clients. The outcome of the process is “order delivered.” The process enables a client to receive an ordered product.
