The British structure is significantly linked to the past, especially with the Roman Empire's rule in the region. There are many artworks in British that are directly related to the medieval era. Besides, some of the structures in British towns date back to the early rulers' culture in the region. During medieval times, the British were under the Celtic rule, with numerous discoveries, particularly artistry. Many things in Britain were decorated and developed based on the culture and perception of the Celtics. During the Celtics' reign, Rome was growing rapidly, eventually becoming the most powerful empire globally with unrivaled success in military organization, engineering, and architecture. Because of their military power and ability, the Romans started conquering other regions, including Great Britain. Great Britain was conquered in AD 43 because the Celtic rule was weak and unable to maintain control of the region. Before the conquest by Romans, Celtic art had taken root in Great Britain, with several styles and artistic forms attributed to Celtics' influence.[Laing, Jennifer. Art and society in Roman Britain. Celtic art was designed in human forms, with abstracts involving curves, twirling, intertwining. There were instances when artists utilized complex forms to design their works. Although Celtic art was dominant across the region, the Romans transformed the region by installing architecture, artworks, and designs influenced by their culture. During the time, Romans started producing artworks that differed from Celtic art. Roman art represented real things instead of abstract concepts. However, the Romans incorporated certain concepts from Celtic artists to produce many works that defined the Romano British. Albeit, most of the works were dominated by concepts originating from Rome. This led to a significant decline in Celtic art forms as the Romans continued to dominate the region. The reign of Romans led to an increase in Rome-based artworks.
